Well I have no problem with that at all, but at least you could just leave a
comment about that it's on low propriety right now or maybe you are busy with
something else, or that I should debug it myself instead of maybe waiting it to
get fixed, that's what it's all about.

Thanks.

Plus, I've been on annual PTO for the last 10 days. Its fair to say I basically
ignore MATE bugs (typically the bugs were fixed upstream in the last two years,
or the obsolete framework parts contribute to the misbehavior...) so unless
there's a stacktrace that looks interesting or a lot of dupes it's going to be
at the bottom of my to-do. If I can't reproduce the crash it's up to the
reporter to debug things. Sorry if that sounds harsh.

Although it can be painful for you, there is pretty high chance that it is not
priority for developer. Especially if it

cannot be reproduced on his own hardware.

Being pushy to maintainer is very often contra-productive.

You still have lots of options:

1) Stop using Gnome Software (There is Apper, DNF...).

2) Try to reproduce it on other hardware. Ideally in VM, which you can pack and
send to developer.

3) Provide the patch.

4) Pay somebody to find reproducer and/or fix it.

I use a lot of SW which has lots of bugs and yes, some of them were reason why
I started using some other alternatives.
