@lhutton1, I agree in general. The primary focus of UMA at the moment is 
accelerators. It might make sense to bear library integration in mind. In 
general, I see that it should be possible. The main difference might be the 
choice of configuration parameters needed.
@cgerum @PaulPalomeroBernardo  what are your thoughts here?
