Thanks Brian,

I guess I didn't read hard or long enough - again. LOL.  Seems I do that more often than I like.  I found out during all of this that the Metalink plugin crashes ATS for some reason.  Though I had it enabled some time ago  but it was commented out of my config.  I've got a couple things to play with now I guess!!  LOL

Thanks again for the clarification and the links!!!

Hi Randy,

The Prefetch Plugin is a remap plugin. Remap plugins are described here:
https://docs.trafficserver.apache.org/en/latest/developer-guide/plugins/remap-plugins.en.html

That means it is configured via remap.config rather than plugin.config
(though some plugins are configured via both plugin.config and
remap.config). This walks through an example for the Prefetch Plugin:
https://docs.trafficserver.apache.org/en/latest/admin-guide/plugins/prefetch.en.html?highlight=prefetch%20plugin#usage

Thanks,

Greetings,

So I got a "wild hair" to do some experimentin' with the experimental
prefetch plugin. I went about setting it up in the same manner I have
other plugins (.so filename entry in the plugin.config file with a
configuration file as the argument) but ATS complained that there was no
TSPluginInit() to be found. It was right, I couldn't find one either.
I also couldn't find anything instructing me to use this plugin any
differently.

Have I missed the instructions somewhere or is this still a
non-functional plugin?

Many thanks!
