Hi, It looks like #1 violate the Semantic Versioning(*1) which we're following now. Do we really stop following the versioning? IMO, we should keep following it, becasue it's easy to indicate that new release has only bug fixes, new features, or incompatible changes.
I prefer #2 and we should release 7.2.x if we want to add new features to 7.x series. *1 : [Semantic Versioning 2.0.0](https://semver.org) Thanks, Masaori 2018年2月8日(木) 4:52 Leif Hedstrom <zw...@apache.org>: > > > > On Feb 7, 2018, at 11:47 AM, Leif Hedstrom <zw...@apache.org> wrote: > > > > Hi all, > > > > discussed this with a few of you, but I’d like to take this to the > community.
