I think it's in order for us (after v3.4) to revisit this, and come to some community consensus. Another reason I'm hesitant to enable this reclaimable freelist by default is that I don't know how it interacts with Bryan's NUMA modifications. I still think we need to spend more time on this, before making a "default commitment". All IMHO, of course. -- leif
