Tim Allison commented on TIKA-4985:
-----------------------------------

Bot summarizes two small regressions which I do not think are blockers:
{noformat}
1. Animated cursors named .cur fail as ICO. RIFF/ACON (.ani) files with a .cur
extension have no magic match, so the *.cur glob added in TIKA-4937 routes them
to the ICO parser, which throws "Not an ICO or CUR file".
  23 files, all from one archive (a Winamp skin). 4.1.0 detected them as
application/octet-stream, so no content is lost, only a new exception. Fix: add
RIFF....ACON magic for an animated-cursor type so content beats
  the filename.  2. XUL files now lose all text. ~10 Mozilla .xul files moved
from text/html (4.1.0) to XUL/application/xml detection, and XMLParser fails at
the first entity declared only in an external DTD (e.g. &app.name;). The
  parser did not change; detection did. Any DTD-entity XML detected as plain
XML fails the same way. Fix: if XMLParser fails before emitting text, re-parse
with the HTML parser. {noformat}

> From the first round: junrar changed exception handling. The updated zip bomb
> detection triggers on compressed log files, and a few other fixes. Vast
> majority of content is unchanged. the mhtml change didn't do much. The html
> detection change is a clear improvement.
>
> Will run round two later today and post results if they're good enough for an
> rc1.
