Huh, for somereason I thought it didn't get that big, but I see that it will go to almost the size I run my terminal at. I tried this with xterm:
-misc-fixed-medium-r-*-*-*-200-*-*-*-*-*-*and it worked and was the right size. I then tried it in st, and the size is still fine, but the spacing is all messed up and every time I type it shows duplicates of the character. Some sort of really weird paiting bug.
