I'm not against providing a nice integration of external tools like wget into surf, however I have seen downloads that were triggered by some JavaScript and making that work with an external tool sounds like a challenge (unless you don't hack into webkit's resource handler layer). That's why I think having both (built-in default) and possibility for seamless integration of external tool would be best. I'd go that far to keep external tool integration that simple to avoid dealing with session propagation. Kind regards, Anselm
