Doesn't seem to be that. I've just now tested the whole procedure. I subscribed to 'announce@' by sending an email with subject=subscribe, receiving a confirmation request email, replying to it with the default subject line (Re: <whatever it said>) and an empty body (deleting all quoted text), and receiving a 'welcome' email. And then exactly the same procedure (modulo obvious substitutions) for unsubscribing. I was sending the emails from the same email address that I was subscribing. I didn't find any suitable clickable link in the confirmation request emails, only a plain email address. (My BT/Yahoo webmail interface attempted to hyperlink the email address to its own mail composer, but it only linked a substring of the address.) - Julian
