Hi Konstantin. That 'mailinglists' page says the Subject line should be non-empty; it doesn't say anything about the message body. Are you sure there's a spam filter that rejects messages with an empty body? Philip has now added a note about the Subject line (and HTML formatting). I made the following changes on <http://subversion.apache.org/mailing-lists.html>: * on each 'subscribe' line in the table, append "?subject=subscribe" to the URL, to cause the local mail program to pre-fill the Subject header when composing the email. * add an 'unsubscribe' line for each list in the table, just after the 'subscribe' line, and in the same style. I think we should also: * state that after sending a 'subscribe' or 'unsubscribe' email, the user will receive and must respond to a confirmation email. * Link to the ASF Mailing Lists page you mentioned, where more detailed information can be found. (Then we perhaps wouldn't have to spell out the details so much.) Sound good? - Julian
