I started to see if I could get the external file error with the command line client. Before spending a lot of time, however, I would like to know if there could be a compatibility problem with the server version number. The server repository, at my company, is using Subversion version 1.5.1. The client code I have been experimenting with uses the 1.7 WC format. If these are known to be incompatible, then I would probably be wasting my time. Thanks, Bob
