I think these are themes because they currently are having the most impact on enterprises, but they are not nearly the extent of what enterprises want from Subversion. Centralized configuration control is an example as you've mentioned, but there are others. I'm about to start an effort that I hope will help galvanize input from enterprises to make their desires more clear as well as provide a means for community ideas to be vetted by enterprises. I'd like to see this also work as a means of gathering financial support to get some of the things they see as critical implemented. I've talked to a few of you at the Subversion Conference about this and have had great responses from the enterprises that I've interacted with since then. CollabNet has interacted with a large number of enterprises that we'll engage in this effort. Hopefully this can help with the effort to define a roadmap for the community as I'm sure it will help with CollabNet's own roadmap for contributions. Stay tuned! Bob Jenkins
