Also for now I have used examples that have non null values, we can have a
separate issue opened to discuss the above topic. the current patch assumes
that we cannot edit such configs. and it passes the tests. So might be a good
idea to get this in and talk about the issue I bring up broadly, there is no
rush. it only will mislead and confuse the user trying to edit a config input
created with "null value".
