Hi Yufei, Unfortunately I think we'll always have two sections that contain versioned data: Documentation and Releases/Downloads. Even if we mask this fact in the landing page of each section, both sections are naturally organized by released versions.
Considering that the EOL discussion is only just beginning, how do you feel about using a softer terminology for now? Instead of explicitly distinguishing between "active" and "end-of-life" versions, we could just say: "recent" versus "older" versions. This approach avoids making a judgment about support status while still keeping the landing pages of both sections tidy, by highlighting the more current versions. Would that work for you?
