Hi Alex,

No worries at all. I understand it is not your intent to merge them, but
the current doc index page already presents the release information. In
particular, the page (https://polaris.apache.org/docs/) currently lists
active and End of Life releases, even though the EOF discussion was only
sent out today.
Because of this, it might make more sense to move that release status
information to the release page (https://polaris.apache.org/downloads/).
After doing so, all release related information would remain with the
release pages, and there would be less need to rename the section back to
"Downloads".
