Hi Yufei, The Generic Tables Credential Vending vote is probably not the best example, because that vote happened too early, before the spec change was reviewed.
In this case this discussion thread raised community awareness, subsequently the linked GH PR received reviews and approvals. IMHO, a formal vote thread is not required in this case since consensus appears to be present. Like l said, I do not oppose establishing a new practice for explicit votes on spec changes. However, I believe that point needs to be discussed separately from this feature proposal. Would you initiate that discussion thread? Cheers, Dmitri.
