Hello, to my dismay I read, from a PMC member, on users...@openoffice.apache.org that they are trying to mix up our free OpenOffice with the former proprietary StarWriter. Obviously purely for the sake of show and obviously also in ignorance of the facts.
As someone who has been volunteering in the OO project (OOo and AOO) for 15 years, I want to make my opinion clear: We have such propaganda not necessary, but us by honest work on a free software, since OOo 1.0.0, is completely sufficient. Personally I would like to make clear that such a kind of profiling by propaganda, will not be supported by me, neither now nor in the future.
