Can you please try "Tools - Options - OpenOffice - Accessibility" and
turn off "Automatically detect high contrast mode of operating system"?
Maybe we should change the default for that option in future releases...
at least from the help text of this option it sounds like a solution.
Does it mean, when the system backgrund color OS is detected as dark
enough, then the HC icon set is pre-selected and displayed?
