Certainly. This discussion is regarding these two sites:

www.openoffice.org <http://www.openoffice.org/>
openoffice.apache.org

Graphic redesign might spill over to wiki.openoffice.org
<http://wiki.openoffice.org/> and forum.openoffice.org
<http://forum.openoffice.org/>

I’m not planning to be involved there, but Keith is trying to reboot the
documentation effort and there are currently issues with some plugins ...

The website source is in SVN. The migrated website will be in GIT. When we are
done the SVN can be made read-only.

We can also plan cutover like this.

New site is new.openoffice.org <http://new.openoffice.org/> and old is
www.openoffice.org <http://www.openoffice.org/>.
When ready we rename www.openoffice.org <http://www.openoffice.org/> in
configuration to <something>.openoffice.org <http://openoffice.org/> and
new.openoffice.org <http://new.openoffice.org/> to www.openoffice.org
<http://www.openoffice.org/>

Since we plan to edit out extra pages it would really help for people to record
via email or on the cwiki the www content that they find is critical. This
should be done ASAP.

Thanks,
Dave
