I looked into this earlier today and have some observations. (1) The SVN repository for the x1 directory on the forums is insufficient and hide the structural beauty of TerryE’s configuration. (2) The README at the location indicates that the directory is out of date. I need to discuss with Infra. Infrastructure now maintains a puppet file that defines their responsibility for our VMs. This is on GitHub. I updated the forum config for FR redirects via a Pull Request today. This is on a public repository. We should decide about our Forum and MWiki configurations. Are they public or private? Do we want a GitBox/GitHub repository? I propose we request GitBox repositories for: - Forum - MediaWiki - UpdateService I think we should request an update service VM. If this goes well we can discuss what we can do for pootle.
