First of all thank you for the nomination and the trust in me that I could be a good candidate. I would have been interested for sure earlier or potentially in the future but at this time I won't be available for the election. Although I am involved in the project since the beginning and already before the source code was open sourced I have switched some priorities and my work focus a bit. I believe that I would not have enough time to help the project moving forward in the near future. I am looking forward that somebody else grows in the role of the PMC chair and takes more responsibility. My wish is that the next PMC chair will be active in the project and will help to drive things forward together with the PMC. The most important goal is to activate developers and improve the product in critical areas.
