Yes, but to a certain extent. At this step we are defining the administration policy of our servers. Legacy privileges are incompatible with this proposal and will have to be dropped upon acceptance of this proposal (and of course promptly reinstated if people agree to work according to the accepted policy).

As for having exactly one sysadmin, I see this as something that can change, but only within the framework of an accepted policy. Once we have started with one sysadmin for the "foundation" phase, and we have established good practices, we can always revise the policy and have a co-sysadmin if all involved parties agree on it. But for the time being we need a clear policy (to satisfy Infra) and a working team (to satisfy users). The rest can wait until the first phase is completed.
