I saw Rob's reply and was wondering because I replied already and have now recognized that I replied to Sabhya only.

We have already a volunteer for the Eclipse plugin project and you mentioned that you are interested in the CMIS project as well. Maybe you can give a little bit more background about you. What did you have made in this direction and what's your experience with Java. In this case some experience with Netbeans can also help because I would recommend to use the NetBeans plugin but that is of course optional. For this project you have to go a little bit deeper in the office API, especially the UCB/UCP. Do you have already some experiecne with the office API and especially UNO, the underlying component middleware?
