Don't know where to register my concerns.
I am a writer, author, and have problems with your program. Your paragraphs are
anarchic and when I space for a new paragraph, often I get

double space. I want to separate a paragraph by *** (change of Point of View)
and I get a double space and a single space.

*****

Like that.
Doesn't anyone ever check these things? Notice:

There are no tanker schools yet. The Commanding Officer tells the men where the
gas pedal is, where the brakes are, and how to double clutch to shift.

Private Lyle Radeleff, tanker, is warned, "Drive it, but don't wreck it." He
will hear this a hundred times before he reaches Iwo.

But this spacing comes up when I make a simple Enter.
WTH is that all about?
My editor drives me nuts complaining TO ME when I have nothing to do with it.
MS
Word doesn't do it like this. BUT, he and the printer don't take Word, they
only
deal with Openoffice. DUH.
WTH am I to do?
