Jacopo, perhaps also good if you provide some history here?
This part of special purpose was a proposal to run the website of OFBiz
inside OFbiz. I think it is a good sign if the project uses the software
it produces itself.
Since it was not accepted by the Apache foundation, we did not further
maintain this component and yes, indeed it can be removed now.
