Hi, Maybe the read-properties-mojo could be a bad thing as the way that it's implemented, by I think that if could be possible read properties files from some other artifact and in some way set as maven properties is an userful thing because as long is a good practice use properties files from dependecies I think it's a good practice too reuse the properties in those files for configure things, usually plugins, is pom files too.
The Maven Way™ recommends that you use properites files from shared dependencies to keep things environment agnostic and also ask in build filters or resources files to point to a relative or absolute file system path, it seems contradictory to me and make you lead to bad things. ----- Anderson Vaz -- View this message in context: http://mojo.10943.n7.nabble.com/State-of-properties-maven-plugin-tp39686p39769.html Sent from the Developer mailing list archive at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, please visit: http://xircles.codehaus.org/manage_email
