Yesterday I had the change to ask Brett to confirm these questions (...opposite 
timezones...).

And indeed it looks ok, "as long as it's optional, and only used by running a 
separate java process, should be fine" (quoted)

 

I'll move MOJO-176 to the appassembler project, assign it to Siegfried.
