Rainer Schulze commented on MOJO-574:
-------------------------------------
@Brill Pappin
I don't know what you mean with "give me support", but of course I'm willing to
give. As I have only few knowledge about maven's plugin technology I can offer
you to provide you with some sample projects in native code (C or C\+\+) - some
of them libraries, other ones binaries - to check the mechanism of referencing
and deployment. As I have no C-Compiler for windows (except cygwin) here at
home I would like to start in a linux environment. In the company that I'm
working for I also have access to IBM/AIX and Windows (Visual C\+\+
Express-Edition). But at the beginning linux should be o.k.
I hope that there are some more people being able to discuss the pros and cons
of the proposal. If not, we (you) throw a solution and wait for responses...
Unfortunately ;-) Chrismas will interrupt my efforts in thinking about build
and release mechanisms for some days...
Off topic: I wish you and everybody around here a Merry Chrismas and a Happy
New Year!

> To compile or link native code requires static or shared libraries and
> include files. THe current Native plugin only deploy share, static, or
> executable artifacts, but no include files.
> Includes files should deploy with the library artifact as well.
