Cross platform compatibility has always been a goal in making this plugin.
On non OS-X platforms we obviously can't make a DMG, but we can make a ZIP and
our users include the JavaApplicationStub in their source tree and configure
the plugin to use it, the application bundle will unpack just fine on a
non-os-x system.
It's not perfect, but it works.
