Thanks for that careful proofreading and helpful suggestions. I've
either included the new text you have provided, or have blended your
ideas into the existing text. The wiki has been updated so you can see
the exact changes in the 'history' tab (this is a really cool
feature...)
I noticed it after I had my notes listed in a mail.
The ideas I haven't used (yet - I'm open to persuasion) are:
Novell OOo vs StarOffice ... Novell OOo does have some significant
differences from OOo - it's never quite become a fork, but neither is it
the same product ... what do people think?
My suggestion does not come from the differences. Those are few. And
will become even less, since VBA-interoperability efforts will be combined.
My suggestion was from the point of view that companies who invest a lot
in OOo, can be handled equally.
Links - there are only a few key references to the main site. Why? one
of the main reasons for creating 'why' was the complaints about the
difficulty of finding 'selling' material on the main site. I don't want
people to navigate away from 'why' unless they are going to download
OOo :-)
I understand it. OK for me.
Thanks again for taking the trouble to read this text so carefully.
Was a pleasure to do, John.
Best,
Cor
