Hmm, I already see a bug in JNDI stuff, we should add some tests for this.
Also, I don't think this code works for relative data home dirs (which should
then be relative to solr.home). Finally, some code in
{{CachingDirectoryFactory#init}} looks up data.home only from sysProp, not from
JNDI. Perhaps that code could call this new method?
