Hi Dmitry, I am pretty well versed in the sub-class-ability of DefaultSolrHighlighter. Most likely the problem you see is that you are using the no-arg constructor. Instead, pass in a SolrCore. It is called via reflection. In 5.2 I removed the no-arg constructor.
