Thank you for looking into this.
bq. The VersionInfo bucket size appears to be a large bottleneck with
replication (we lock on this bucket in DistributedUpdateProcessor for the
entire document add).
I met a few folks during recent Solr meetups who were comparing SolrCloud
indexing with non-cloud master node indexing and this was one of their biggest
bottlenecks according to them.
