OK, so if I'm reading the patch correctly, it looks like the new group.sort you
added decouples the sort of the groups from the sort of the documents within
each group? (and group.sort specifies the sort of the docs *within* each
group?)
What's the intended semantics of how to sort the groups? For example: if I'm
sorting the documents within each group by price desc, and I'm sorting the
groups by popularity desc... what if the top docs kept in group A (those with
the highest price) are not the docs with the highest popularity? Are groups
sorted by the popularity of the first doc (i.e. the one with the highest
price), or are they sorted by the highest popularity doc with group value A
(even if it's not in the top N in that group)?
