Hi Martin & Sophie, >> I updated Slovenian po files to m81 that came out today and found five new >> strings, obviously describing colors: >> "Soylent Blue", "Soylent Yellow", "Soylent Orange", "Soylent Green" and >> "Soylent Red". >> >> They are located in sfx2-workben-custompanel. >> >> Now, I expect the "Soylent Green" is a reference to a cult movie of the same >> name, but how do you expect localizers to translate this?
Ooops ... that was /me. The strings are part of some example code, which is not part of the final product. The sample code started with drawing a green rectangle, that's why when I was looking for a name, "Soylent Green" jumped to my mind :) > No, we should inform the owner of the function that the string are not > acceptable. This has no sense on a localization point of view, you do > not have to know a this to be able to make a translation. You're right, those strings are not to be localized at all. Feel free to submit me an issue.
