Is this just for data input, or does the display also have to have a period for a decimal?
My only problem is when I type in numbers on my notebook and I just don't mind to see '1 000.00' or '1 000,00'. For me, this is quite equivalent. The thousands separator shouldn't be typed in and should be a space.
