I come here because I'll try to translate OO2 into 3 languages used in west africa:
-Mossi (french name: moore) (Burkina Faso (BF) only) (iso 639-2 : mos) -Bambara (Mali(ML), but similar to "malinke" in Mali, and "Jula" in Burkina Faso(BF) and Ivory Coast(CI). But for now consider them as a single language: bambara) (iso 639-2/1 : bam/bm) -Fulah (french name:peul) (also "fulfulde" in Burkina Faso(BF), "Pular" in Senegal(SN), but also in cameroon, niger, mali...We got to work on this, maybe these are different languages, not really stable (peul are nomads)) (iso 639-2/1 : ful/ff) We will try to make a simple version within 2 month (say 10% translated), and may be only bambara and mossi, to begin. None of them got a microsoft ID, nor codepage I made various keyboard layouts for these languages (keyman, patch linux, or msklc on xp) All of them are STL/LTR/HTL, but using various unicode cars (a lot from International phonetic alphabet section). I can give all unicode codes if needed. They display ok using "arial unicode ms" or "doulos sil" fonts So I plan to start the localization project for these language (my email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Can I download zipped archive of this list? My connection in africa cost a lot, I use to work offline. And all of you will suffer less dumb queries. I download poEdit and pot files. But can I download pot files in French, to translate easily? Few people handle english here. Or must I translate the english version? I'll mail and fax the contributor form soon. Thanks for excellent docs (javier sola for example) Etienne --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
