Thanks for the help. It seems that our major problem is that we started from Sun's GSI files and not from the POT files for the m99 build. I've managed to sort out the problems and merge the revisions from the pt-BR team and I've finally been able to produce our first pt-BR sdf file.
We are currently reviewing the pt-BR translation for OOo 2.0 and we are already at 31% of the files reviewed for style and consistency.
I'll open an issue pointing to the gsi file so it can be included for the next beta testing.
Pavel, would it be possible to include this file on your builds?

If you are using po2oo from the Translate Toolkit, check if the comments on the PO files match the comments on the POT files for the same build. po2oo requires that the comments be correct.
