Pavel Janik told me that it is a mistake in source code and I should not care.
So i suggest you do the same.....
Everyone is right and this error should not appear for empty strings
when I finally release a new translate toolkit (BTW you can get CVS
snapshots that are quite stable at
http://translate.sourceforge.net/snapshots/ if anyone is interested)
