One thing that just occurred to me, David, should we backport this CI change to 3.7, 3.8 and 3.9? These are the 3 active branches at the moment (3.6 technically is still active, but will be EOL'd when 3.9 is released soon). Do you see any potential impact if we backport the change to those?
