Hi!

old plugins should still work on newer installations without any code
changes, but if you wish to use the new API, code changes should be
straightforward. As for the JDK, we're targetting 11 right now, but
after 2.12.3 and upgrading to jakarta stack we would also move to at
least JDK-17. If you'd want the plugins to work on older installations
as well, JDK-8 would be the way to go.. so you have plenty of choices
there :O)

It's totally fine to host your plugins at github or wherever you see
fit :-) if you end up at GH, I'd ask you to label the repo(s) with
jspwiki so they can be more easily discovered,
