Hi Juan Pablo,
Okay, thanks for that. I'm not sure how much documentation there was for that
particular plugin, on my current copy it's just a demo with not much else, but
I'll go back and look for some of the more original code and see if I can find
more documentation.
On the subject of those plugins, most of them have been limited to an older
version of JSPWiki so they won't work with the new version anyway, so maybe it's
time I resurrected that project and built it to match the new world.
So... what version do you think I should target, and which version of Java?
Would there be an issue if I posted all them to a github repository, with the
idea that if the Apache JSPWiki team wanted they could incorporate the entirety
of that code within the JSPWiki code base (i.e., you'd have my explicit
permission to do so), or just have it as a set of (linked) external plugins?
Cheers,
Murray

Hi Murray,
Most probably was yours, as the Page was referenced from the NeWikiPlugins
Page. Same for CssPlugin.
Now that I look to NeWikiPlugins, there are a big bunch of empty links, so
it is possible that the spammer simply deleted those pages? I've checked
the UndefinedPages page and there are about 50 pages missing. What a mess..
:-(
Best regards,
juan pablo

Hi Juan Pablo,
Do you know if that was the ComposePlugin that I wrote, or is it
a reference to a different plugin?
Cheers,
Murray

Hi all,
Recently we've had another spammer that has been trying to perform
several XSS injections at jspwiki-wiki.a.o, without success, while
also filling with
rubbish the wiki. Instead of editing pages, this time the spammer
opted for deleting and recreate them with dirt.
Other than the time removing the dirt, the following pages have been
lost due to noticing too late the spam, so we can't recover from
previous backups:
* ContributedTemplates
* ComposePlugin
* CssPlugin
* InterWikiLinkTips
* JSPWiki - social networks
This kind of behaviour is very annoying, so we've decide to take the
following actions:
* Account creation is moderated via worklfow approval
* Backups are kept for one month
* Modified jspwiki-wiki policy file to only allow edits from Admin or
gardener groups
We are recreating Admin and Gardener groups. Anyone interested in
being added to either of those please ping back to one of these lists,
and we'll add you right away.
We'll also check regularly for new account requests, but it'll be way
faster if a request account submit is followed by another ping to one
of these lists.
Apologies on the annoyances this could cause + best regards,
juan pablo
p.s.: If by any chance someone keeps a copy of those pages, we'd be
very grateful to put them back in their places
