Hi everyone, With the recent devlist discussions coming up around the fine-grained metadata commits and the ongoing work to bring scan planning into the catalog, it seems like the timing is right to revisit this topic. I’ve taken some time to revive the proposal and reworked the design to center around fine-grained metadata commits and the specific validations needed to enforce iceberg commit guarantees in the RESTful protocol.
