Hi all,

Do you think it's a good idea to have a capability matrix on the
multi-engine-support
page <https://iceberg.apache.org/multi-engine-support/> like Beam's
capability matrix for runners
<https://beam.apache.org/documentation/runners/capability-matrix/>,
especially for multi-version support?

Currently, it's difficult to find out what features are supported in a
specific version of an engine.
For example, I know merge-on-read support was added since Spark 3.2,
storage-partitioned joins since 3.3. What else? Not aware of any survey, I
suppose only a few users are on the latest Spark 3.4, the version with the
most capabilities. Hence, I think it's valuable to document what is missing
in older versions.

WDYT?

Regards,
Manu
