Hey All, Ryan Murray, Laurent Goujon and I have been working since early this year on a way to introduce git-like capabilities, branches, tags and cross-table transactions into Iceberg (as well as Delta Lake and Hive tables). We just announced this work as a new OSS project. We're calling it Project Nessie ( projectnessie.org) and we'd love your feedback.
