Folks
The core and client code bases should now be conformant with RFC 9110,
9111 and 9112.
I would be nice if some one could take upon themselves to review
HttpClient for conformance with RFC 7617 and 7616 and that would make
HttpClient conformant with the latest protocol specifications.
I would like to cut several releases in the coming weeks:
1. HttpClient 5.2.2 GA
2. HttpClient 5.3 GA
There have has no feedback to deprecation of NTLM and GGS based auth
schemes since 5.3-alpha1. I see no point waiting any longer.
^^^ GSS
3. HttpCore 5.3-alpha1 and HttpClient 5.4-alpha1
We have made many great improvements in the latest development
branches. It is time we released them.
What do you think?
Makes sense.
