I mentioned this in the weekly meeting, but the PR to merge Gradle 9.7 was merged into 8.x without addressing the concern I raised (previously, this same approach was used and introduced a regression on task dependencies). I haven't seen a PR to address the concern and now worse, sdkman can't resolve Gradle 9.7.1.
Gradle has https://github.com/gradle/gradle/issues/38930 - but it appears the problem is on sdkman's side now. I'd like to move forward with reverting that PR since it was merged without approval and we can't install that version via sdkman. This does mean we'll need to revert it on the micronaut repo as well as it was split after the merge. Any concerns? -James
