Based on https://www.apache.org/legal/release-policy.html#release-approval and the related discussions on the mailing list and slack, I am going to announce the vote results on another email thread and complete the 7.0.0 release.
We will attempt to address https://github.com/apache/grails-core/issues/15082 and https://github.com/apache/grails-core/issues/15147 in a quick follow-up 7.0.1 release, in addition to other items which are ready at the same time.
