I don't know about the others, but I haven't forgotten that there is a lot of issues reported by Sonar. I actually want to thank you for getting Sonar set up. We didn't have metrics reports before. That said, I don't need frequent reminders, especially when it comes with insinuations and insults like in your prior post. Can you find an email from someone who said they think they are "bad-___"? How does this choice of words encourage people to contribute, and how do you think it gives you a positive reputation?
This is Apache. If cleaning up other people's bad code is your itch, scratch it. Me, I am going to focus on delivering features and bug fixes folks want. Harbs' company is paying Harbs and Yishay to port an app. Should I put off the issues that block them for this low hanging fruit? I'm willing to trade off leaving some of this bad code around to get them to be successful enough to draw in more people. And maybe they'll help with the clean up. -Alex On 7/14/16, 1:57 PM, "Christofer Dutz" <christofer.d...@c-ware.de> wrote: >Hi, > >This time from my computer ... mobile phone emailing sort of sucks ;-) > >But there's a big number of low-hanging-fruit there ... you don't have to >have written the code in order to fix problems in it.
