It seems to me that it’s only possible if there’s some way to define dot and 
dotdot operators. I don’t know of a way to do that in ActionScript.

It will be possible to use mySVG.descendents(“path”) or mySVG.child(“path”) 
(which the dot and dotdot operators are really shorthand for)

If someone can think of  a way to define the operators, I’d be happy to try to 
add that…
